The Tuscan Village Garden Home project is not this builder's first rodeo.  James Burkhart, the President of Melrose Construction and Development Company "started driving nails at age 15" and has been building and developing properties in Texas and New Mexico for more years than he will allow us to tell you.  With this project Mr. Burkhart is improving on a success story that started in Ruidoso, New Mexico, where he developed The Tres Rios Condominiums.  The New Mexico project was a huge success and the style and quality of those units have inspired the Texas project. 

You see Mr. Burkhart love's Texas, Glen Rose, Texas to be more specific and the Burkhart's have called Glen Rose home for a very long time.  However,  the beautiful and delightful Mrs. Burkhart fell in love with the Tres Rios Condominiums in New Mexico so much so that she would have gladly have stayed there forever- so they found the perfect solution.  Build a slightly larger and more private version of the New Mexico Condo's in Glen Rose and they could have the best of both worlds.   Thus the vision and inspiration for the Tuscan Village Garden Homes.
